Developers are looking to create a new development that would see some 30 homes created in the City of Burlington.
Last night (Sept. 23), Salotto Building Group Inc. hosted a virtual pre-application consultation discussing the plan.
The new development, if approved, would be located on a vacant lot located at 4375 Millcroft Park Drive in Ward 6. According to the pre-application, ‘The proposal has the potential to create 30 single-detached dwelling lots taking into consideration the lotting pattern of the surrounding community and will introduce a new 18m public road in a crescent shape through the new subdivision with two access points on Millcroft Park Drive.”
KLM Planning Partners Inc. (who appeared on behalf of Salotto Building Group Inc.), city staff, representatives from Salotto Building Group Inc. Ward 6 Councillor Angelo Bentivegna and Mayor Marianne Meed Ward were all in attendance.
The outline of the project states that the proposal is consistent with the city’s official plan and meets current zoning bylaws, meaning the city won’t need to make any exceptions should council decide to allow the project to proceed.
An application for the project has yet to be submitted. Once an application is formally sent, notices will be given to residents that live within 120 meters of the lot.
Further information on the status of the development and application can be found on the city’s website.
