Portion of major Milton road closed due to construction

A portion of a major road in Milton will be closed for another couple of weeks.

Fifth Line, south of Yukon Ct., is expected to be closed to traffic until Sept. 11 in order to facilitate culvert construction.

Motorists are asked to detour around the area using Derry Rd., James Snow Pkwy. and Main St. E.

Construction timelines are dependent on many factors, including weather.

During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while traveling in and around construction areas.
