Popular Indian restaurant celebrating grand opening in downtown Oakville

A new addition to downtown Oakville’s culinary scene will be hosting its grand opening celebration on June 10.

Avani Rolls and Bowls, operated by the same team that runs Avani Asian Indian Bistro, began serving its unique Indian fusion dishes to diners several weeks ago.

According to their social media announcement, Avani Rolls and Bowls aims to combine chef-crafted flavours and fresh ingredients with the speed and customizability that modern diners crave.

The restaurant is located at 133 Lakeshore Road East.

As far as food goes, the quick-service resto’s menu offers bowls and burrotis (a fusion of burrito and roti) made with a wide array of options, including chicken tikka, beef keema, paneer tikka and vegan “meat” balls. Other ingredients include rice, fries, greens, curried cauliflower, roasted sweet potato, chickpeas and more.

To celebrate its grand opening, the eatery will offer its first 50 customers a free burroti and kulfi (a traditional Indian frozen dessert). Throughout the day, customers will get 50 per cent off on bowls and burrotis.

Additionally, Avani Rolls and Bowls will serve pet-friendly bowls exclusively for dogs, hoping furry companions can join the fun.
