The Summer Days/Summer Nights event presents CRASH Rhythm at this week’s free summer entertainment series.

Organized by Arts Milton, the program features emerging and established performers from Milton and the surrounding area, bringing pop-up curbside concerts to driveways, lawns, and small green spaces in the community.

CRASH Rhythm represents an alternative, dynamic and engaging approach to music education and exploration. CRASH uses bucket drumming to tie together teamwork, creativity and fun while also learning the basics of music, composition, rhythm and drumming.

“We believe that every child should have access to music education,” said a spokesperson for the group. “We explore music through leadership, creativity and rhythm.”

Everyone is invited to the Arts Milton shows. Make sure you bring your own lawn chairs.

This week’s event is Thursday, Aug. 24, at 650 Childs Drive at 6 p.m. and then Knox Church, 170 Main St. E. at 8 p.m.
