Halton police have responded to a threat made toward a Milton school.

Police say on March 1, 2022, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) officers responded to Craig Kielburger Secondary School after the school received a telephone threat.

According to police, an investigation has determined the threat to be unsubstantiated. It is also believed to have been a “swatting” incident.

Police say the investigation is ongoing at this time in an effort to identify the party responsible for the call.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the HRPS at 905-825-4777 ext. 2415 or ext. 2416.
