A truck comes to take away an impounded motorcycle in Burlington.

Aggressive behaviour along a Burlington road has led to some stiff penalties against a motorcycle driver.

Halton Regional Police say the driver was pulled over after being clocked going 99 km/h in a 50 km/h zone yesterday (Oct. 1).

“Residents in the area have put in complaints about this type of reckless driving,” said police.

The area is Waterdown Rd. near Masonry Crt.

The driver received a 30-day license suspension and a 14-day impoundment of the vehicle.

“Good to be in the right spot, at the right time!” police said.

While aggressive drivers continue to plague city streets, Halton police have also been aggressive in their enforcement recently in response to public complaints with several stoppages of vehicles travelling at high speeds.
