Police don’t suspect foul play after body found on ice under Oakville bridge

A body was found under an Oakville bridge Tuesday morning.
According to a Halton police spokesperson, the police received the report at about 8:30 a.m. and discovered the deceased male on the ice on the creek under the Rebecca St. bridge, near Bronte Rd.
Traffic was detoured for several hours after the discovery.
Police are investigating, however, it has not considered suspicious at this point and police are not searching for any suspects.
