Police cruisers rammed in Burlington by suspects fleeing Oakville crime scene

Suspects wanted in the robbery of an Oakville drug store rammed two police cruisers while trying to make their getaway, according to reports.
Police say the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. last night (Dec. 17) on the Brant St. off-ramp on the QEW in Burlington when officers tried to stop a vehicle containing those wanted for a robbery of a Shopper Drug Mart.
According to police, the suspect vehicle rammed into two cruisers and then the suspects tried to flee on foot.
A short time later police apprehended all five of the suspects. A taser was used to bring down some of the suspects.
No serious injuries have been reported.
Five people have since been charged with various crimes, three are under the age of 18.
