Update: Missing man from Georgetown has now been located

Update (Oct. 4; 6:54 p.m.): HRPS says that Nicholas has been located in the city of Toronto and is in good health.

Halton police are appealing to the public for help locating a missing Georgetown man described as “vulnerable.”

Police say Nicholas Ostapchuk, 22, was last seen on Sept. 29 in the Main Street South and Maple Avenue area in Halton Hills.

He is described as a white male who weighs about 160 pounds and is approximately 5’6″ tall. He has a slim/muscular build, short brown hair and blue eyes.

He may be driving a blue 2013 Nissan Altima with Ontario plate CHCE927.

Police say Ostapchuk is vulnerable and officers and family are concerned for his well-being.
