Pedestrian Struck by SUV in Oakville

One person been injured in a vehicle collision this evening in Oakville.

Halton Police reported around 8:35 p.m. that a female pedestrian was struck by an SUV at Towne Boulevard and Dundas Street West.

The victim is facing some minor injuries, including a possibly dislocated ankle.

The collision occurred at low speed, according to police. The driver has been charged with turning unsafely.

The eastbound curb lane on Dundas is currently closed but is expected to reopen shortly.

UPDATE: All lanes have been reopened.
