The Milton Film Festival will be showing a pair of movies under the stars later this month.

The free outdoor movie screenings will be held at Country Heritage Park on Friday, Aug. 23, and Friday, Aug. 30.

Directed by Jan de Bont and starring Bill Paxton, Helen Hunt, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

That will be followed on Aug. 30 by Ratatouille, the classic Pixar animated feature about a rat who can cook and makes makes an unusual alliance with a young kitchen worker at a famous Paris restaurant. Featuring the voices of Patton Oswalt, Lou Romano, Janeane Garofalo, Ian Holm, and Peter O’Toole.

The films will start after dark, about 8:15 p.m.. In case of bad weather, the screening will be moved inside the Gambrel Barn.

There is free parking in the north lots and a free wagon ride to the movie site. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase, cash only.
