Opening of Burlington pool delayed

Burlington residents looking to cool off with a dip in LaSalle Pool on Friday morning will have to look elsewhere or hang on for a bit.

The opening of the outdoor pool, located at 50 North Shore Blvd. E. in Burlington, will be delayed due to what’s being called “an unforeseen issue.”

The Burlington Parks & Recreation said swimmers will be able to take the plunge on Friday afternoon when the pool opens at 2:30 p.m.

The Leisure Swim will run as scheduled.
