A pair of teens – one from Oakville – are facing stunting charges after they were nabbed in Caledon by provincial police.
The traffic stop took place on Sept. 24 at 6:03 p.m. on Hwy. 10 near Beechgrove Side Rd.
That’s where an OPP officer says he clocked a 1999 red Ford Ranger at 133 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone.
A blue 2000 Suzuki motorcycle was following the Ranger closely and making lane changes with the pickup truck, say police.
The officer stopped both vehicles — it turns out they were travelling together.
The motorcycle driver, Ethan Michael Enright, 17, of Oakville, is charged with race a motor vehicle – excessive speed and operate a motor vehicle without insurance.
The Ford driver, Nikolas Erik Luce, 17, of Mono, is charged with race a motor vehicle – excessive speed.
Both teens received a seven day licence suspension and their vehicles were seized for one week.
