An Oakville school will be closed this week for in-class learning.

River Oaks Public School located at 2173 Munn’s Ave will be closed for in-person learning starting today (March 15) and the school will transition to online learning.

The school will be closed due to staffing issues and a COVID-19 outbreak at the school involving five students and two staff.

The school is expected to re-open on March 22.

Voluntary, asymptomatic testing is available for students, families and staff at White Oaks Secondary School (1330 Montclair Dr.).
