Oakville Pharmacy Held Up at Gunpoint

One male suspect is being sought by Halton police after the armed robbery of an Oakville pharmacy.
One male suspect is being sought by Halton police after the armed robbery of an Oakville pharmacy.
A lone male with a handgun entered the Oak Park Pharmacy at 2530 Sixth Line on May 14 at 8:30 pm, demanding cash and narcotics.
Two staff members were inside at the time — they weren’t physically injured, say police.
The suspect is described as white, standing 6-foot-3 with a thin build.
He was wearing a dark winter hat, green scarf covering his face, dark jacket or sweater, dark pants and black shoes.
The suspect was also holding a black rectangular gym bag and a black handgun.
He fled on foot northbound on Sixth Line.
The suspect may have been in the area of Grosvenor St. and Jamesway Blvd. shortly after the robbery, say investigators.
