Oakville Man Charged in Armed Robbery

An Oakville man is facing several charges following his arrest in connection with an armed convenience store holdup.
An Oakville man is facing several charges following his arrest in connection with an armed convenience store holdup.
“As a result of the investigation a suspect was identified for the robbery as well as several other crimes in the Oakville area,” say Halton police.
The gunpoint robbery took place on Sept. 20 in Kerr Village.
Investigators executed a search warrant at an Oakville home on Oct. 2 and arrested the man.
Dennise Nunes, 41, is charged with robbery with a firearm; wear disguise with intent; break & enter; theft under $5,000; mischief to property under $5,000; failing to comply with probation.
Nunes was held and will appear in Milton court.
