A trio of Oakville boys are facing a slew of charges in connection with two armed robberies in the north end of town.

The first incident took place on Oct. 6 shortly before 7 p.m.

That’s when three male youths approached another youth at the Glen Abbey Community Centre at 1415 Third Line.

The suspects threatened the male victim, demanding his wireless earphones, say Halton police.

One of the suspects allegedly produced a knife while the another displayed brass knuckles.

The victim complied and wasn’t injured.

Investigators allege the same suspects went to the Oakville Soccer Club, at 1520 Pine Glen Rd. on Oct. 20 at 7:50 p.m.

The trio approached three youths near the entrance to the club, say police, alleging each suspect pulled a knife while one also displayed brass knuckles in his other hand.

The suspects are accused of robbing the victims of an iPhone, bluetooth speaker, and cash before leaving the area.

It was later reported that one of the three suspects had also robbed another youth of an air soft pellet gun earlier that evening.

All suspects have been arrested — their names are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

Investigators from the criminal investigations bureau arrested the first teen on Oct. 27.

Later that morning, investigators executed a search warrant at an address near Sheridan Garden Dr. and Ford Dr.

Additional evidence connecting the suspect to the robberies was seized, say police.

A 14-year-old Oakville boy is charged with: five counts of robbery; utter threats; three count of possession of weapons for dangerous purposes; five counts of breach of YCJA probation order; and possession of property obtained by crime.

Two more teens were cuffed on Oct. 28.

Another 14-year-old Oakville boy is charged with: four counts of robbery with violence; three counts of fail to comply with recognizance; and three counts of possession of weapons for dangerous purposes.

A 15-year-old Oakville boy is facing: four counts of robbery with violence; three counts of fail to comply with recognizance; three counts of possession of weapons for dangerous purposes; possession of prohibited weapon.

All three suspects were held for bail.
