The continuous effort by Halton Regional Police to crack down on noisy vehicles has led to another driver getting pulled over.
Police say they stopped a car last night (July 18) on Prospect St. near Brant St. around 10 p.m. because it was making excessive noise.
The police vehicle was unmarked and looked like a regular pickup truck.
After checking out the vehicle, the driver was ticketed for a number of offenses.
These offenses include improper muffler, making excessive noise, having a defective horn, having no front license plate, and having an expired license plate.
The total in fines amounted to $660.
Police typically do not release the name of those ticketed under the Highway Traffic Act.
