Students get an extra day off in Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills

Students across Halton will be getting an extra-special long weekend that starts tomorrow (Oct. 6).
Both the Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board have PA Days scheduled tomorrow meaning kids from Kindergarten to Grade 12 will be off for four days when you add in Thanksgiving on Monday.
While the students are freed from classes, teachers will still be on the job.
PA stands for professional activities and the day is used for work development for educators and staff, evaluation of student progress, curriculum and program evaluation and development.
Classes will resume in both school systems on Tuesday, Oct. 10
