A new skatepark has officially opened in Georgetown.
After months of working with New Line Skateparks, the Town of Halton Hills has replaced the skatepark at Mold-Masters Sportsplex, located at 221 Guelph Street in Georgetown with a new community-sized skatepark.
For several months, the Town collected feedback from residents on the park’s potential design.
Based on the feedback, New Line Skateparks developed concept designs until the final design was reviewed and approved.
A grand opening for the skatepark will take place on Sept. 20 at 5:00 p.m.
