New residential development possibly in the works for Milton

Milton residents are invited to a meeting being held by a local developer.

Mattamy Homes is hosting an informal public information meeting about a proposed development on Ferguson Drive, south of Louis St. Laurent Avenue, west of Fourth Line.

A consultant team from Mattamy will be in attendance along staff from Milton’s planning department.

The affected area is contained within the Boyne Secondary Plan.

“This community offers a unique blend of housing options, including apartments and townhomes, designed to meet the diverse needs of the community,” said a Mattamy spokesperson.

“With heights ranging from two to 12 storeys and thoughtfully-planned outdoor amenity spaces, this community will fit seamlessly into the surrounding neighbourhood and enhance the existing community.”

The meeting will involve a presentation, followed by a question and answer session. It’s being held Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the gym at Sainte Anne Catholic Elementary School.
