A new restaurant/nightclub with Portuguese roots has replaced EddieO’s Pourhouse and Kitchen in Milton.

Tasca 370 kicked things off this weekend with a live DJ spinning music.

Located at 370 Main St., Tasca is a Portuguese word that means ‘tavern’.

Tasca 370’s Instagram page posted a video of the opening night with a caption that said, “Officially Open and Ready to Go #Tasca370. Join us every Friday and Saturday for DJ Nights! Open all week for some delicious food and a great time #officiallyopen #tasca #370 #milton.”

The restaurant’s website and Facebook page are both works in progress and neither has information about the style of food being served or a menu.

The Instagram video of the opening night shows a venue with a nightclub feel, with music and a DJ. Televisions lined the walls.

The previous location closed more than a year after the conviction of the owner, Eddie Oliveira, on charges of assault, sexual assault and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.

Over the years, the location has housed a variety of restaurants, including Fat Freddy’s, a Portuguese churrasqueira, Mint Leaf Indian and the NASCAR Cafe.
