New olive oil shop set to open in Oakville

Olive oil and balsamic vinegar lovers in Oakville looking for something new can head to Kerr Village this weekend.

The Splendid Olive Tasting Room & Provisions is holding its Grand Opening Celebration this Saturday (May 13), from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The family-owned olive oil and balsamic vinegar business, located on 393 Kerr St., is rebranding from Olive-Me & Co.

“Our new name, The Splendid Olive, captures the essence of our business — the splendor of high-quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars,” owners Gail and Natalie said in the Kerr Village BIA May Newsletter. “We are excited to introduce you to our new brand, as well as our new products, including delicious new flavors and recipes that are sure to inspire new ways of cooking.”

Complimentary savoury and sweet treats will be available all day at the Grand Opening. As well, there will be free gift with a purchase.

The Splendid Olive will also be offering a new website with a subscription service that will ensure customers never run out of their favourite products.

They will also be offering free delivery to their valued customers.
