New Oakville bubble tea store TRU-ly ‘delicious’

TRU’s new Oakville location is looking to change the way people “perceive” bubble tea.

The popular tea store, whose motto touts “bubble tea refined,” recently held a soft opening for its new store at 337A Kerr St.

Born of three bubble tea lovers from Toronto in 2018, the new Oakville store joins other locations in Mississauga, Etobicoke, North York, Downtown Toronto and Richmond Hill.

“We create new and interesting products for our cool customers,” said TRU on its website. “Each drink contains genuine thought and quality, demonstrating what truly delicious bubble tea tastes and looks like.

“We believe in changing the way people perceive bubble tea.”

TRU says that starts with being transparent about what goes into their products and being innovative on how they create them.

“We want to go above and beyond the normal expectations of bubble tea shops by daring to try new things and experiment with unique flavours – ultimately creating the best tasting drinks for bubble tea lovers,” the bubble team company said.

Bubble team lovers with a sweet fixing can try the tru-cake-crème. The creamy and indugent milk tea is made with cake flavoured crème. Try the Crème De La Crème, the Oreo Galaxy Crème or the Strawberry Cake Crème.

Tru·pioca drinks are “springy” and have low calories. Made of their Trupicoa jelly, choose from the Strawberry Trupicoa or Mango Trupicoa.

Other popular drinks include the White Peach Yakult, the Double Roasted Milk Tea, Golden Mango Green Tea, a freshly brewed Peach Oolong or chill with a Lychee Dragon Fruit Slush made with mozza foam.

Tru is open seven days a week, with regular hours set for 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
