Discount home furnishing store to open new location in Oakville

A Canadian discount home furnishing chain is opening another location in Oakville.
HomeSense, which has a “Mega-Store” combined with Winners on Trafalgar Road, is opening a new location on the east side of Dorval Crossing, located at 200 North Service Road West.
The new store site, which has undergone extensive renovations, was once home to a Bed Bath and Beyond store before it closed its doors last summer.
HomeSense specializes in home furnishings and sells products that range from low end to name brand. They also offer competitive prices on products with minor defects or discontinued lines.
Owned by TJX Companies, the company opened its first store in 2001 and has expanded to Europe in 2008 and the United States in 2017.
HomeSense holds over 140 stores including its “Mega-Stores” which include full Winners and HomeSense stores combined.
