Music, magic and serial killers, something for everyone at Milton arts centre

From illusions to musicians to guest speakers, there’s a wide variety of entertainment coming to FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton this fall.

Here are some of the upcoming performances.

Outerbridges: Mysteries of the Keyhole House, Oct. 25, at 6:30 p.m.

Prepare to be mesmerized by the first-class illusions of Ted and Marion Outerbridge in their captivating new show Mysteries of the Keyhole House. Inspired by the couple’s real-life restoration of a historic keyhole house, this family-friendly performance will captive audiences with breathtaking illusions, intriguing mysteries and even a visit from a friendly ghost.

The Psychology of Serial Killers Tour (intended for mature audiences), Nov. 8, at 8 p.m.

During this 90 minute thrilling experience, Winnipeg native Dr. Rachel Toles, a renowned clinical psychologist and criminal expert, will help people understand such burning questions as:

What makes a serial killer?

Why do they commit such horrific crimes?

What drives them to murder?

Matt Dusk: The Best is Yet To Come, Nov. 9, at 8 p.m.

Award-winning crooner Matt Dusk pays homage to the legendary Tony Bennett, in a toe tapping, electrifying show titled The Best Is Yet To Come, featuring many of the superstar’s greatest hits like I Left my Heart in San Francisco and The Way You Look Tonight.

Always ABBA Tribute, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m.

Experience the music and the majesty with Always ABBA as they bring you ABBA’s greatest hits featuring Canada’s finest vocalists and musicians. Enjoy the classic songs, looks and energy that made ABBA famous.

Glass Tiger: This Island Earth Tour, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m.

Discover the enduring legacy of one of Canada’s most iconic bands, Glass Tiger in their This Island Earth Tour with some of their greatest hits including Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone), and Someday.

Strumbellas: Part Time Believer Tour, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m.
