Most sport fields in Burlington have reopened

After several days of outdoor sports cancelled because of poor field conditions, there is some good news for Burlington athletes.

All baseball diamonds and natural grass sports fields will reopen today (July 19) with a few exceptions.

Still off-limits are:

• Sherwood D1, D2
• Brant Hills D1, D2, D3
• Leighland D1, D2
• Nelson D3
• MM Robinson F1

The above diamonds and field will remain closed today and open for play tomorrow (July 20).

All artificial turf outdoor surfaces have been still useable during the recent water accumulation.
