More than 75 vendors confirmed for Milton downtown’s annual SummerFest

There are big plans to kick off the start of summer in Milton.

The Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA) is hosting SummerFest on Saturday, June 3, from noon to 8 p.m. on Main St.

There are already more than 75 vendors confirmed for the event, with more expected to sign up.

The BMO Stage will feature a constant stream of bands including Three Legged Barstool, 16 Miles Out, The 2 Dollar Bills, Los Chukos, Alessia Chole, The Classy Wrecks, AUX Band and Acrobat, a U2 Tribute band.

Other features during the day are:

• Milton Strong Performance Area supported by Lajy Welding featuring shows and demonstrations from local artists and businesses
• Vendor Marketplace sponsored by Scotiabank with vendors offering great food, clothing, accessories, gifts and lots more
• Summer Fun Photo Ops
• Family fun including Lego & Duplo hosted by Creative Club, splatter art by Tinkerlab, games, activities and more!
• Milton Historical Society’s SummerFest Extravaganza sale and demonstrationsPatios at local restaurants, serving great food and refreshing drinks
