More than $200,000 raised for United Way at annual Milton Mayor’s golf tourney

With another $200,000 this year, the Mayor’s Golf Tournament for United Way in Milton has raised more than $3.2 million for annual campaigns since its inception.

Funds raised are directed to United Way approved social service agency programs designed to help Milton residents and families.

This year, more than 250 golfers showed up in support of United Way Halton & Hamilton during the 23rd annual Mayor’s Golf Tournament for United Way in Milton held last week.

“We know that nothing matters more than community. At United Way, we address the challenges that individuals and families are facing daily,” said Brad Park, president and CEO of United Way Halton & Hamilton.

“Through a collective effort with our esteemed partners, we strive to design solutions that foster the well-being of those who call this community home. In Milton, individuals encountering significant barriers can access vital support from programs, ensuring they receive the assistance they need. This golf tournament is a great example of how United Way events showcase the profound impact that the local community can make when we unite to support our families, friends and neighbours.”
