You have one more chance to watch the trains run.

The Burlington Model Railway Club will open the doors to its clubhouse this weekend for the final time this season.

You can see the trains this Saturday, Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. where displays will showcase the various aspects of the hobby.

Three model railway layouts will be featured, with the HO and N scale layouts operating inside and the garden gauge layout outside, assuming the weather cooperates.

Established in the 1980s, the club is known for its dedication to the hobby and invites enthusiasts and curious visitors alike to witness the evolution of model railroading over the past decade.

Model railroading has transformed over the years, now boasting more accurate and authentic detailing that resembles real railways.

“The introduction of precision electric motors has enhanced the performance of these models, whether it’s a replica of an old-time steam engine or a modern diesel locomotive,” a message on the club’s website reads.

The clubhouse is located at 1137 Hidden Valley Road.
