Missing Oakville man has police, family concerned

An Oakville man has been missing for more than a day and Halton police are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Jagman Ghumaan, 28, was last seen on foot at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the area of Neyagawa Boulevard and Dundas Street in Oakville.

Jagman is brown male about 6-foot-1 with a slim build. He’s bald with a short black beard and was wearing a grey, hooded sweatshirt, black shirt, grey sweatpants and brown shoes.

Police and family are concerned for his well-being. Anyone with information about Ghumaan or his possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at the website.

A person can be reported missing at any time, there is no 24 hour waiting period. If you are concerned for someone’s immediate safety, call 9-1-1. Otherwise, you can report a person as missing to the Halton Regional Police Service by calling the non-emergency number 905-825-4777.
