UPDATE: Missing and vulnerable 11-year-old boy from Burlington has police concerned

UPDATE: Officers have located the missing child and say that he has been reunited with his family.
Halton Regional Police are continuing their search for a missing 11-year-old who was last seen this morning running into a forested area near a school in Burlington.
On Saturday (Sept. 23) at approximately 10:45 a.m., police responded to a missing persons report involving a minor.
Police say an 11-year-old who functions at a level much younger was last seen running into a forested area south of Corpus Christi School.
According to investigators, the missing boy is described as being close to four feet tall, and weighs 90 pounds. He was wearing a red t-shirt with the number 16 on the back, shorts, and sandals at the time of his disappearance.
A name or photo of the missing boy has not been released as police say they respect the wishes of the family in not posting the an image of the child.
There is growing concern for his wellbeing, and officials are urging anyone who spots him to immediately call 911.
