Milton residents can get info about living with dementia at seminar Wednesday

A seminar on how to deal with a diagnosis of dementia is being held tomorrow in Milton.

Dementia Talk: Our Lived Experience will bring together three speakers at Milton Seniors’ Activity Centre, 500 Childs Dr., from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

The speakers are:

  • Rubina Pasha, who will talk about living with dementia
  • Paul De Ronde, a care partner and author
  • Sameera Ali, Milton Regional councillor who will discuss engaging and empowering dementia-friendly communities in Halton

The event is being held by the Dementia Empowerment Network – Halton with support from the local Alzheimer Society as well as the Hamilton Council on Aging.
