Milton parents can chat with local councillor on first day of school

Parents of students who attend Milton’s Irma Coulson Public School can grab a coffee and have a chat with the local councillor on the first day of school.
Ward 3 Town Councillor Adil Khalqi will be at the school, located at 625 Sauve St. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
In addition to free coffee and Timbits, Khalqi will be joined by school staff to connect with parents and answer questions.
“I’m hoping to meet with lots of parents and have some meaningful conversations about our community and to reach out to my residents in a way where these discussions can easily take place,” said Khalqi.
