Mayor to give update on Oakville’s progress, challenges at State of Town address

Oakville residents can learn about the town’s progress, challenges, and hear about what the plans are for the future when Oakville Mayor Rob Burton delivers his State of the Town address on Monday, Sept. 25.

Set to begin at 5:30 p.m. at Town Hall, the annual update on Oakville’s development over the past year to residents and local businesses will be the 17th delivered by Mayor Burton.

Prior to the address, members of the community will have the opportunity to mingle and engage with members of Council, Mayor Burton, and fellow community members at the Atrium.

Snacks will be provided at the pre-event gathering. Residents are encouraged to attend, share their insights, and be part of shaping Oakville’s future.

“As we gather for the State of the Town Address, I am excited to connect with our vibrant Oakville community,” said Mayor Burton. “This event provides us with a valuable opportunity to reflect on our achievements, discuss our ongoing projects, and share our vision for the future.

“I look forward to engaging in meaningful conversations with residents and hearing their perspectives, as we collectively work towards making Oakville an even better place to live, work, and thrive.”
