The creations of 120 local artisans will be available at the Craftadian Burlington Holiday Market in Burlington this weekend.

With a diverse array of goods ranging from apothecary products and handcrafted leather handbags to artisan jewelry, candles, food, prints, and more, the event is considered a pre-Christmas event where unique gift ideas will be available.

The market takes place at the Ron Joyce Centre, 4350 South Service Road, on Nov.2 and Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Jacqueline Hunter, the show director of Craftadian, underscores the significance of supporting small businesses.

“Supporting small businesses is not just a choice; it’s a responsibility towards our community,” Hunter said. “When we buy from a local maker, we are not only bringing home a unique piece of art but also contributing towards the growth of our community. So let’s empower and uplift our local makers because every purchase we make has the power to create a lasting impact.”

Hunter went on to say that rallying to bolster local enterprises is crucial for collective growth and progress.

“Craftadian Handmade Market serves as a beacon of resilience and solidarity, fostering connections between artisans and their community while championing the values of craftsmanship and authenticity,” she said.
