Man rushed to hospital after single-vehicle crash at major Oakville intersection

An adult male was transported to the hospital after a vehicle crash at a major Oakville intersection on Friday morning (June 16).

Police said they received a call around 8:45 a.m. of single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Trafalgar Rd. and Dundas St.

Reports say the man was rushed to the hospital with no vital signs.

“The vehicle struck a pole,” Halton Regional Police Cst. Ryan Anderson said of what initial reports of the crash indicated.

A fire hydrant and street light were damaged in the crash.

Halton Regional Police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is on the scene investigating.
