Police are responding to a serious collision in Oakville this afternoon.

Police are responding to a serious collision in Oakville this afternoon.

Around 2:13 p.m. police reported a crash involving a single motorcycle in the area of Trafalgar Road and the QEW.

A male victim has been transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

Officers remain on scene investigating.

Southbound Trafalgar at Leighland Avenue and southbound access from the eastbound and westbound QEW off-ramp are closed until further notice.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.
