Major Oakville Road to be closed for two months

Construction on a major Oakville road will result in it being closed for more than two months.
The road closure on Burnhamthorpe Road West between Sixth Line and William Halton Parkway will be from Monday (Oct. 7) to December 20, 2024.
Work on the busy stretch of road will include installing storm, sanitary, and water main services.
Local access will be maintained; however driveway access will be limited, and residents will be informed when they will be directly affected,” said the Town of Oakville.
The detour route will be Sixth Line and William Halton Parkway.
