Major Milton road blocked by broken-down tanker truck

Major delays are expected on main Milton road for the next few hours.

Halton Regional Police are reporting that a pair of northbound lanes Ontario St. N., approaching Steeles Ave., are currently blocked.

Police said the lanes are taken up due to a tanker truck that has broken down due to mechanical failure

“Ontario St. North is down to only one turning lane. If possible please take an alternative route,” said a police spokesperson.
