Burlington festival street closed Appleby

A large section of one of Burlington’s busiest streets will be closed for a popular festival this weekend.

The Appleby Line Street Festival is set for Sunday, Sept. 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. on Appleby Line between New Street and Fairview Street.

The festival is one that brings friends, families and neighbours together in a relaxed atmosphere where you can stroll along the normally busy street that will be closed off to vehicle traffic during the event.

Some of the highlights this year include a beer garden, pony rides, live music, plenty of activities for kids and a display of classic cars. Over 150 vendors will line the street selling food, crafts and other various goods.

The Burlington Teen Tour Band is scheduled to perform at 2 p.m.

More information about the festival and how you can take part is available at applebylinestreetfestival.ca.
