Local councillor hosting free opening celebration at Milton park

Ward 3 councillor Adil Khalqi is hosting a free celebration in the newly-opened Cobban Neighbourhood Park.
The park includes such amenities as:
- Play area
- Spray pad
- Shade shelter
- Multi-use court
- Soccer field
- Park pathways
- Parking lot,
- Trees and shrubs
- Open grass areas
- Site furniture and signage
Khalqi will be handing out freezies while supplies last.
The event is Friday, June 16, at 6:30 p.m.
Cobban Neighbourhood Park is located at 840 Whitlock Ave.
