Live on the Lake brings concerts back to Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park

It’s been a while, but Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park will come alive with a major concert next Saturday night.
Live on the Lake, a premiere live music event presented by the Sound of Music festival, returns to the shore of Lake Ontario Saturday, June 11.
The ticketed, one-day-only event kicks off the Sound of Music Festival and features big name artists live on stage in Spencer Smith Park.
This year’s line up includes Three Days Grace, Tim Hicks, The Beaches, and Saving Abel.
Gates open at 4 p.m. and the show begins at 6 p.m. VIP tickets are sold out, but general admission tickets are available for $80 by visiting the website.
The Sound of Music main event kicks off the next week, running June 16-19. Among the dozens of acts scheduled are The Pursuit of Happiness, The Tea Party, The Trews, Blackstone Cherry, Fantastic Negrito, Finger Eleven, Bif Naked, Honeymoon Suite and Wide Mouth Mason.
The Club Series runs June 12-15.
