Lane closures overnight on Burlington highways

Overnight commuters in Burlington are being alerted to some road work being done on a pair of major highways through the city this month.

Starting Monday night (Sept. 30), the off-ramp from eastbound Highway 403 Hamilton to eastbound Highway 407 ETR will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night up to this Saturday (Oct 5).

All lanes on the off-ramp will be closed.

Also beginning tonight, the on-ramp from westbound Highway 407 ETR to westbound Highway 403 will be shut down from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sept. 30 to Oct. 4 and then from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Oct. 4-5.

Drivers will have to use alternative routes in both cases of roadwork.
