Knife-wielding bandits make off with Burlington pharmacy drugs

Two men, one armed with a knife, are being sought after stealing a large quantity of narcotics from a Burlington pharmacy.

Police reports indicate one of the suspects, wearing a mask, entered the Millcroft Pharmacy at 2500 Appleby Line around 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 while his accomplice stood watch at the door.

The suspect then pulled out a knife, threatened the workers and demanded that they open up the safe where certain drugs were kept.

Once the safe was open, the suspect gathered up the drugs and escaped with his partner.

No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as 18-years-old, 5-foot-7 with blue eyes and a slim build. The second man was about 40-years-old and wore dark clothes. Both were wearing balaclavas.
