This is one performance by the Oakville Symphony that will have your kids “humming.”

The Oakville Symphony will be holding a mini concert for kids Saturday (Sept. 23) at 4 p.m. at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre.

Aimed at children ages four to nine, the 30-minute-long concert will help them learn about how the French Horn is made and how it’s played.

“This event will have you buzzing,” said the Oakville Symphony.

Founded in 1967, the Oakville Symphony brings music to an audience of all ages. The symphony performs 10 times a year at the Oakville Centre for Performing Arts and students and young adults can enjoy discounted ticket prices.

The Iroquois Ridge Community Centre is located at 1051 Glenashton Dr.

The concert is free and will be held in the Southridge Room. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has gender-neutral washrooms. Parking is also free.
