Kerrfest bringing back live music to downtown Oakville

After taking a couple of years off because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kerrfest is coming back to Oakville next month.

Spread over four days at Westwood Park, the event has something for everyone, including food and a special kids’ day on Sunday, Sept. 11.

Here’s the scheduled lineup for each day of the event.

Thursday, Sept. 8, gates open at 4:30 p.m.

  • Eclectic Revival, 5:15 to 6 p.m.
  • The Cooper Brothers, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
  • Haywire, 7:45 to 9 p.m.
  • Chilliwack, 9:30 to 11 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 9, gates open at 4:30 p.m.

  • The Jimmy Flynn Music & Comedy Show, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • The Irish Descendants, 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.
  • Jimmy Rankin, 8 to 9 p.m.
  • The Trews, 9:30 to 11 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 10, gates open at 12:30 p.m.

  • 3BestFriends, 12:50 to 1:30 p.m.
  • Classic Rock Live, 1:50 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Mississippi Bends, 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
  • Teenage Head, 4 to 5 p.m.
  • The Accolades, 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.
  • Bill Durst, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • The Box, 7:45 to 9 p.m.
  • 54.40, 9:30 to 11 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 11, Kids’ Day, gates open at 11 a.m.

  • Paw Patrol, Bob the Builder and Mystic Drumz-Marshmallow Island throughout the afternoon.

Sunday is free admission, but Friday and Saturday tickets costs $10. All tickets are being sold in advance, online only. The Thursday lineup has just recently been added and ticket information will be coming shortly.

The event will take place in Westwood Park, on the corner of Kerr and Bond streets, and includes food vendors and a pop-up market.
