iPhone seller gets beaten up after Burlington online deal goes bad

A Burlington man trying to sell his iPhone to customers he met online was attacked and beaten in the lobby of his condo.
According to reports, the incident took place on Saturday (Sept. 23) in a building located in the Masonry Crt. and Cooke Blvd. area.
The victim reportedly made a deal to sell the item and when he went down to the lobby to discuss the sale, the would-be customer grabbed the phone and tried to take off.
Police say a struggle ensued that’s when a second assailant entered the building and punched and kicked the victim.
The culprits ultimately managed to steal the phone and fled outside where they escaped in a waiting vehicle.
Minor injuries were sustained by the victim.
Police say there is no description of the suspects.
