Info session for Milton students interested in international learning program

An information session for Milton students interested in the International Baccalaureate Programme is being held next week.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School is hosting the event for Grade 9 students on Thursday, October 19.

In June, St. Kateri was approved as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. This means the school is now pursuing authorization as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.

During the candidacy phase, the school will be offering a Grade 9 Pre-IB Programme beginning next September. The Pre-IB Programme was developed to assist students in their preparation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

Grade 7 and 8 students and families interested in learning more about the Grade 9 Pre-IB Programme are encouraged to attend the information night Thursday, Oct. 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
