Bronte Creek Provincial Park, which sits on the border between Oakville and Burlington, is hosting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve event this year.

The New Year’s Eve Coyote Howl and Kids Countdown is being held Sunday, Dec. 31, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Park staff will be giving talks that will help dispel coyote myths and misinformation. They will be followed by a guided night hike out to the “howling” location where everyone will try to get a response from the resident coyotes.

Everyone is then invited to gather around the bonfire, roast some marshmallows, then ring in the New Year with noisemakers in hand with a kids countdown at 8:30pm.
